.....for those times when an M249 under a trench-coat or even a 5" 1911 under a blazer just doesn't quite work......

.32 ACP by Seecamp, dehorned (even more) and treated with Ion Bond's Tungsten DLC (hereafter referred to as W-DLC, "W" being the elemental symbol for tungsten, held over from the days when it was called Wolfram I guess).

9mm by Rohrbaugh. No Plus P's in this one please, but who would want to? Very compact, very well made. I don't care how well your tux is tailored, you can find a spot for this where it won't show. A little bit of extra dehorning, night sights (not yet installed in pics), serrated rear of slide, textured slide top, some minor trigger work, Conamyds front and rear..... one mag left stainless. One done in shiny W-DLC. One in matte W-DLC.... color coded in case my esteemed client wants to, you know, have three different loads on him for three different kinds of zombie

Frame (aluminum alloy) has be re-anodized, everything else save the hammer is W-DLC'd. I left the hammer bare stainless to serve as something of a "register" for seeing which end is which in the dark (tritium inserts will be slightly recessed forward and not visible outside of a 90-degree cone).

Now that is creative execution. Like the machine work on the rear of the Rohrbaugh as well as the textured top.

Ned-

What's a Tux??? I am pretty sure I can make that disappear in the pocket of my Carharts. Very cool.

That is some pretty slick work Ned. Lots to love on those smaller pistols.

Rohrbaughs are hawt. I love mine.

Very nice job done on yours, Nedly. That front strap work took some ciphering I imagine, as thin as the metal is!

Ya know, it was not that bad. It was thin at the bottom but the frontstrap and the inside front of the mag chute are no parallel, it gets thicker by a very usable amount as you go up.

I did have to make some special fixturing for what is possibly the only Rohrbaugh I'll do that to.

Ned
You really ROCK!
I am gonna post pics of this on the Rohrbaugh boards.
Gotta show off the coolest Rohrbaugh in the world.
I was unhappy with a KelTec as my carry gun for
something little so I got the Rohrbaugh and felt it
needed some kinda treatment to the strap as she
barks a bit and was just too smooth, well I am glad
I sent it to you as you really took this pistol to the
next level! I now can be VERY comfortable in carrying
this when the 1911 is just too big.

Now that we got this outta the way its time to start
working on ideas for my 1911 from you.... I want to
do a CCO (or would even do an officers).... This is
gonna be a true "Ned" gun whatever you want to do my
friend as long as its meant to be a true carry piece!
I lean towards a CCO as I am partial to the series 70
BUT I guess if I was going to have a Officers built you
would be one of the best to do it. So, your call...
Start thinking about it and let me know when.

Jeremy,

Please present yourself in person to pick it up so our tuxedo department can make sure the fit is perfect.

Me too. And to think I just bought a Kahr PM9 (my first plastic gun  ) to fill that niche. The Rohrbaugh looks a bit smaller and sleeker....and way cooler after that work!

Everyone knows that I'm a j-frame and 1911 hog but there are times when something smaller is called for. Sorry I don't have a pocket full of the pocket 9's like Ned.

It doesn't get any better than TR's pocket rigs. These have some time on them.

Well I was finally able to make some time and get my schedule to mesh with
Ned's and drove down there to pick up the baby R.

WOW it looks good in the pics but looks better in person and feels even better!

The sights, the conamyds, the trigger the whole package WOW!!!!
The Rohrbaugh is a VERY nice gun BUT this is how they should have made it!

Thanks for taking the time to show me your toys and everything as well as
taking care of the sight on my revolver. I still owe you a burger and a beer!

I have to find myself a Browning shotgun now  Im sure I will see you
again soon!

You don't owe me a thing. That envelope in your glove box with $500 in it, that I found when I said "I'll be right back", will do just fine.....

I quit carrying a .32 when I went to the store carrying it. I realized that I felt armed when I had it, despite the facts being otherwise. Gave it away.
