Couldn't agree more MR. Shear.

Holy smokes that's a fine lookin' 1911. I suspect that would make an excellent companion heading into the city everyday.

For what it's worth, I definitely prefer this version of the "makers mark".

Simply amazing execution CT. You are like a fine bottle of wine the older you get...nevermind. 8)

Seriously fine, functional art.

Tim,

First off, I always look forward to your projects. I have ruined a few keyboards salivating over the pictures. This gun is no exception. Any one, including me would be proud to carry that on our hip. I am partial to the commander sized guns. One day I will probably have you make one for me. I noticed you are using a block style text for your company name instead of the previous style.....I think it fits this gun perfectly. Great gun and super detail in the work.

I thought that was kinda strange.

Then I checked it out some more.

Then I winked back!

Elegant.

Who made the frame? I can’t make out the mfg.

It looks Springfieldesque on the bottom of the dust cover.

I believe it's a Les Baer.

What is it ya'll don't like about the previous 'cursive' "maker's mark"?

I actually liked it, and a lot more than the block style. Wellll, I don't guess I'll kill my order over Tim's changin' his 'brand'...

That's just jaw-dropping gorgeous Tim. It's been a treat coming back to see this one, I dunno, 14 or 15 times now. Perfecto!
