Just finished this one up.
John Harrison of Harrison Design was kind enough to create the awesome grips! :D :D :D
The finish is a custom mixed semi-gloss GunKote over parkerizing. I had a bear of a time finding just the right level of sheen.

That is beautiful! The golf ball treatment has really grown on me.

Looks stunning! I think the idea of merging classic with modern has been executed perfectly.

Oh, and it feels very strange seeing one of many Chuck's great pictures and realizing that this one is mine.

ST5MF, you might want to ask Alex about that. That is absolutely beautiful. I love the finish. Hey Chuck, is there an extra pin in the slide by the sear pin?

The way the golf ball treatment angles down to the Hammer axis really works. It made me pull out my 1911 and see how in the world did he do that? Really great looking gun. I fear I will never know what that golfball treatment feels like. It looks like King Arthur meets John Browning which fits in my book

Incredible work and the finish is particularly impressive. Closest I've seen to that in terms of depth of color and glass are the finish jobs I've seen from Glenrock Blue. You 'smiths continue to amaze me.

Couldn't have said it better.

Next best thing to buying one is being able to look at it! Over and over and over and over................

Notice the down-stop for the right side of the ambi..... a Rogers original I believe.

And all the trouble you went to get the gloss right, I think not that many guys woulda stillmade sure the sights were as flat as flat can be. Looks great bro!

And the relief cut to aid removal on the back of the right paddle. Lotsa goodness going on here.

Every time I think that Chuck can't out-do himself, he proves me wrong.

Over.
