This Colt Series 80 recently made its way back to the Great State of Tennessee. Its owner has pledged that it will have a hard life and see round counts measured in the thousands. It does a guy's heart good to hear that!

The fun part of building these guns is working to create a gun as unique as the man that carries it every day. Enjoy the pics, and thanks for looking!

A lot of nice details! Great blend with the MSH,frame and stocks.
Did you use a DLC or a black T for the slide? Who's mag well are you using?
Thanks for sharing :)

A VERY, VERY nice piece! The stippling on the slide is particularly eye-catching.

I am not a big fan of stippling, but this is very appealing! Fantastic details! Any reason for using the Accu-Rail other than to tighten the fit?

Mr Erickson,
Very nice, clean work. Functional and attractive.........always a great combination! Enjoy the subtle little refinements. One of my dear friends who is a knifemaker of many years calls those subtle little things that don't instantly jump out at you, "Hey, look at this". Note he doesn't say that, but that is what he calls them.......
"Hey look at this........" And the longer one looks at the pictures of your build, they find lots of "Hey, look at this" and that is neat.
Best regards,
Jeffro

It's good lookin' Dave! I'm sure the owner is thrilled about getting it back!

Dave,
That is a beautifully done gun, great detail and execution. Nice photos as well.
