My customer wanted this “Reverse CCO” built. An Officer size frame did not give enough grip surface for him and he also wanted a very short slide. In the end it turned out to be a very well pointing gun quick out of the holster. The Officer Bar-Sto bull barrel was also very accurate.

Caspian Commander frame with Officer slide
Barsto match fit bull barrel
Wilson beavertail grip safety
Ed Brown ignition components
Greider trigger
30 LPI hand checkered front strap
40 LPI hand checkered below trigger guard
Slide stop flush cut to countersunk frame
S&A mag guide blended by hand
Novak tritium sights
Entire pistol dehorned
Spegel grips
Metaloy “Tactikote” upper and hard chrome lower

Thanks for looking!

Very Nice, that is the first one of those that made me want one in that "reverse" platform.
All of a sudden the idea of "fast out of the holster" sounds good.... :D

I believe that Colt made this set-up as a "Commando" model. Commander frame with an Officer top end. This is about a 1000% more impressive than the stock Colt. Nice work.

I believe that Colt did several models set up this way. The first one, I think, was referred to as a Commanding Officers Model. I had some friends and coworkers that had them, one in .45 acp and one in 9mm.
