I fell in love with this gun at SHOT '09 while drooling at the LTW booth, and worked out a deal to purchase it from Steve.

Good friend and well known photographer and Highroad owner Oleg Volk took a few pictures of this beauty, and I thought I would share:

*Not shown is the matching Colt Detective Special which I purchased from Steve separately.
Pictures of the entire package to follow once I get it all up to Oleg for a proper photoshoot.

I've drooled all over this one at your shop! The pics are fantastic, and still don't do it justice. Beautiful gun.

Joe,
Glad to hear you are enjoying the Colt. Oleg took some fantastic pictures. The Det. Special sure turned out nice. Those ivories fit great.
Take care,
Steve

That is, by far, the nicest engraved 1911 I've seen. Just outstanding! Congratulations!

John,
Oleg is going to be taking pictures of the complete package very soon.
I need to have you make a matching Det. Special holster.

I recall seeing that pistol in the booth as well........I don't recall if I was upset or relieved to see the "SOLD" sign before my crecit card could slip out of my wallet. Simply gorgeous, a true gentlemen's pistol.
