Here's a couple pics of the typical EMP with the mods I like to do. I've been using the Heinie magwells on these guns to give a solid perch for your little finger. With this magwell a new mainspring housing is used and this allows the butt to be rounded. The front strap is checkered and the trigger guard is under cut along with cutting the grip safety up higher this gives a higher hand hold. On this 40 I added my squared trigger guard, serrated the back of the slide, and done my snake bellied top. The finish is CC's "Hard Blue" (TiAlN) and Larry Davidson's grips.

Here is a EMP in 9mm which has the same treatment as the 40 except for the squared trigger guard. The grips on this gun are thicker than the 40 which fill the hand better. I added a Heinie rear sight on this one and kept the factory front. The frame was finished in KG Gun-Kote and the steel parts done in the "Hard Blue".

These little blasters are awesome. I love your Square triggerguards and the overall package. The EMP is a neat base gun.

Ned,
I love to work on these guns, I've lost count on the number I've done. The barrels might be short but they're very accurate, I've got more ideas on mods that I can't do because they are hard to come by.
Later,
Rich

I just bought an EMP 40. I really like the looks of the magwell. Any chance to see a pic with the EMP in hand to see how the magwell fits a hand? My preference would be to hold one before I have this done to make sure it fits, me but not sure that will happen. I like the rounded butt too.

Thanks. That's what I kind of expected it to look like. When I pick up my EMP, expect a call to get an order for some of this work.
