I came up in the 1980's when you either carried a wonder nine or a .45. I went the .45 way. I have always dreamed of a Light Weight Commander. Well thanks to Chuck and Don after almost 25 years I finally have the gun I always wanted.

Chuck did the golf ball treatment on the front strap, and mag release as well as a light weight mainspring housing, custom thumb safety and beaver tail and new solid trigger.

Don did the sights, the arrow serrations, a trigger job, a reliablity job and a dehorn job and supplied the grips and the ignition parts.

Both did a wonderful job and I could not be happy. I feel like I won a LTW lottery!!!

Please enjoy!!! I will post better pics soon.

Rob,
I think that is great. You deserve it. Use it wisely my friend.

Don & Chuck both did a great job on your Enhanced Colt Light Weight Commander!

The details are so very well executed, that really is a dream come true!

Thats a beautiful Commander you have Sir!

Rob..very nice indeed!! Now I'M the one who's jealous!! I unfortunately might have to let that little package from C&S go that you were admiring, in the near future..as promised I will let you have first dibs on it if I do! (by the way..is that one of your holsters in the pics? I have been using the #1 that you gave me a couple of years ago and like it when I do carry with it!)
