Man oh man! I keep grabbing at my screen trying to touch it but alas the magic never happens.
Great looking piece Mr Rogers.

I have had trouble warming up to bobtails as well...until this one. That is one sweet piece.

This Colt Combat Commander by far is the most ergonomic pistol I have ever owned. It quite literally feels like an extension of my hand. Zero slop or excess. It will be hard to go between this Rogers Creation and my P226, G19, and other 1911's...

Chuck,

Your ability to take a sharp edged piece of steel and turn it masterfully into a smooth work of art is unparalleled. Don't get me wrong, the other gun artists build some fine looking weapons as well, and I would be proud to own any one. As a carry weapon though, yours fit the comfortable side of carry to perfection. I have carried and competed with both and all my competition and carry guns have "softened" edges all around. I could see myself literally burning up hundreds of rounds of ammo, each time this gun is taken to the range. Since I would have to reload to be able to afford all the ammi I would be shooting, can I send you my progressive loader for a workover as well!!! :D

I have a Rogers LW Commander so I understand what you mean. Mine is about the opposite of a Bobtail though, it has an Ed Brown Wedge MS Housing.

That is nice. Very nice. I may be very fortunate to also have one of Chuck's works in the very, very, near future.

I have never liked the looks of bob-tailed 1911's. They felt okay in hand, but they were visually disconcerting to me. This blaster might have just changed my mind on this. The treatment of the slide's nose balances out the bob-tail and makes the whole package just look right. Kudos, Chuck!
