The blending on Chuck's pistols are incredible. Does the front sight have a white plastic insert or is it some other type of material? I am sure if it wasn't a long lasting part it wouldn't be on this gun to begin with but I would like to hear how it holds up overtime. The only thing I would like to see different on this gun is a smooth faced trigger without a overtravel screw. This is a pistol I would love to own, great job.

Chuck,
An absolute beauty. I haven't posted much, but I have checked in as often as OPTEMPO permits. The incredible pieces of artwork with firepower on this site always inspire and make time in the box go quicker.

Thank you and keep up the great work.

Cheers.

Yet another perfect gun from Chuck's bench...lots to like on this one. That treatment of the EGW style front bushing/ recoil plug is really slick.

GORGEOUS CHUCK!!! 8)

So many fine details in that build. It all comes together with simple yet striking beauty.

I really dig that angled front of the slide! :D Looks awesome.

Chuck,
Very well done! I'm usually not partial to hard chrome, however this one could be changing my mind.

Outstanding work.

I am very fortunate to own one of Chuck's guns  . Well worth the wait and well worth the extra days working to earn it. If you are like me in any way, SHOOT the devil out of it. I am pushing about a K, still under but you will be impressed with the gun. I have an Heirloom built on a Remington Rand and the black 70 Rogers shown in this forum, and both make it easier for me to shoot well. Only error is the jerk  behind the trigger not the jerk of the trigger  .

Beautiful as always. I also love the look of the angled front of the slide. Chuck, would you mind explaining to me the benefit of angling the mag release that way? My monkey brain thinks it should be the other way, and I'd love to hear your reason for doing that way, as I'm sure there's a good one.

besides the hours and hours of prep time, what does a hard chrome job tend to run for a customer.
