This pistol was recently featured in the Guns and Ammo "Complete Book of the 1911". Special "Thanks" to Chuck Rogers for his help!

Ok, what do you call your flat topped slide treatment and who makes that rear sight? Beautiful work by the way.

I am pretty sure that is a Teir one sight from Chuck Rogers, one of the venerable Browning Jedi. 8) That is his golfball treatment too. The Chen magwell looks really great on this gun. I love how it rounds out the fore and aft. This is a very classy piece, yet it fits the owner well. Read the article. It is very well written and a great podium for this pistol and maker to speak from. Right on, Dave.

Two things caught my eye - the grip screws and that slide top.

Very well done indeed!

I’m not much of a raisin fan but if I had to eat ’em in order to get the gun I could probably deal with it.

Quite nicely done Dave! :D

Sweet Dave, awesome build, really clean all around!

How about a new Condition One signature raisin logo?

One of my Air Force buddies called today and would like to know why his FA18's wings get a little shorter every time Dave makes a set of those grips..... any ideas, Dave?

Great looking gun. I bought the magazine this weekend and that's a very cool article as well. Between Dave and Chuck, that's one of the nicest guns I've seen in awhile. Very clean and good looking.
