With all the time and effort that I've spent recently on rebuilding my web site and adding my web store ( https://shop.harrisoncustom.com ) I've gotten completely sorry about posting any pics of recent builds. I think this is the oldest one waiting it's turn to go online. It's a Colt Combat Commander that I built for a west coast LEO. It's finished in matte black IonBond DLC and has the following:

Novak LoMount three dot night sights
Kart barrel -w- EGW bushing and polished flush crown
Ball cuts, French borders & Heavy bottom bevels on the slide
CMC beavertail, Colt thumb safety
Harrison Design Extreme Service ignition set and short trigger
25 lpi checkering on front strap and Chen MSH
Heinie mag well and grips

Mr. Harrison,

My opinion doesn’t carry as much weight as the pros but let me say STUNNING EXECUTION!

I especially like the re-profiled EGW thumb safety.

Thank you for sharing.

Very nice Commander indeed. Those of us in the Harrison fan club are happy to see your work on these pages.

I like the Chen main spring housing. Is that part only for use with a mag well?

Thanks for your most kind comments.

The Chen MSH works great in a non-magwell application with just a bevel to the surrounding areas. It does require a machining operation to install, requiring a mill to cut away a section of the web of the frame between the mag well and the MSH area. Once it's cut, you can cut the MSH ramp way back to the rear.

Beautiful work. I particularly like the heavy bevel on the bottom of the slide.

Very nice.
The heavy bevel combined with the french border is a great look-different but classy
