Here is a Carniak Custom Colt 1911 that was recently completed.
It started out as a beat up Colt. I stripped it down to the frame. All parts were replaced with Wilson Combat parts.
The rear sight is a Yost retro sight. Grips are from Esmeralda. http://www.esmeralda.cc/

*25 LPI frontstrap checkering
*Slide tighten
*Lower/flair ejection port
*Bevel magwell
*Dehorn entire pistol
*Install Novak front sight
*Install Yost rear sight
*Install Wilson Combat barrel
*Install W/C ejector
*Install firing pin stop
*Install W/C grip safety
*Install W/C thumb safety
*Install/tune extractor
*Fit slide stop
*Install W/C trigger w/trigger job
*Install plunger tube
*Install screw bushings
*Blend rear of slide & frame
*Re-blue polish flats, matte rounds
