Here are some pics of a Springfield Gov't Model that I recently finished up. It started life as a stainless Mil-Spec and crossed over to the Dark Side! The particulars from the top down are:

H-D Extreme Service front & rear sights in plain black
Serrated round top slide at 30 lpi
Serrated rear of slide at 50 lpi
EGW firing pin stop & Wilson Bulletproof extractor
H-D Extreme Service firing pin
Kart Nat'l Match barrel -w- EGW thick flange bushing & long nose plug
Tightened slide to frame fit
H-D Extreme Service forged slide stop, shortened and countersunk on the right
H-D slotted Commander ignition set -w- H-D short trigger
EGW bar stock thumb safety shaped to H-D Carry Contour
S&A .220 radius beavertail
H-D extended mag catch
25 lpi checkering on front strap -w- smooth lower border
H-D Carry Groove grips in black G-10
25 lpi checkering on flat MSH
standard mag well bevel
Carry Bevel package
finished in matte IonBond DLC

I hope the owner shoots and shoots it...then again, it could just as easily be displayed in the Smithsonian! Unbelievable.......

That Is a great looking pistol. I really like the slide release. Everything is so very well executed. Top it all off with my favorite color. I hope the owner shoots it a ton. Beautiful piece of business.

Not too hot not too cold, just right. I'm digging your slide stop and also really like the flat Ion.

Thank heavens you stayed home from SHOT, as all the others are seamingly still there upholding "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas"..lol
