I should probably apologize for posting this; but I just got this well-used Springfield PB9608(actually, I just got it back) and am wondering if one of you pro's here might recognize some of the work. The guy I originally got it from didn't remember who did the work, but it was done in the Anchorage, AK area around 1995. It feels great in the hand and shoots nice, small groups. He said the wide-spaced, front grasping grooves are better for cold hands or gloves. Not too aesthetically pleasing to me, but what do I know? The frontstrap treatment seems kind-of unique. Longshot, I know. Thanks, either way.
