Three matching guns done over the course of three years... one a year, all done to the same spec’s for the same customer. Truth be told I got off easy not having to do them all at one time as a truly matching set... an exact pair of guns is hard and I can only imagine what a third would add.

Doing these over the course of three years also allowed me to make subtle changes here and there. It’ll be nice to watch the bluing get worn on each of these over time... enjoy the pictures.

It really offends me that someone can afford three of these, and I can't even have one. Darn fine looking guns! Thanks for sharing those pictures.

Nicely Done! All three ooze class. I've never seen checkered ivories on a custom 1911 before and it makes a nice accent.

Those are simply awesome. Those are almost exactly what I would want in a 1911A1 custom! Nice work!!! I think those are as close to perfect in my opinion that you can get!

It's a funny thing....I'm sitting here watching Sniper: Bulletproof (History Channel) which was on a few days ago but missed, luckily my wife DVR'd it. Anyway, one of my all time favorite people (though I've yet to meet him) is on.... Clint Smith is demonstrating a shot with a .38 and a .45 to simulate a Vietnam era firefight. So, being new to the DVR stuff I was delighted to slow and pause and rewind and rewatch in slow motion. Well, the 1911 Clint is using has ivory grips....cool! Then I see Nitre blue pins? Odd. Then I see the Professional sights! Clearly he isn't using a Les Baer TRS.... Finally the front sight has a gold line on it!!!

Surely one of Jason's masterpieces above was on this show! I thought that was way cool if my observation is accurate!

Yup... you got it... I'm pretty sure it was the "number 1" gun.
