You need to change the name of your shop to "Rogers Perfection".

Nice touch having Old Glory reflected in the feedramp, long may she wave.

Great looking work my brother.

That makes me want to cry....

**drops head and walks back into the shop depressed**

Seriously, nice work. I've been staring at it for a couple days now as wallpaper on the computer.

Perfect gun, perfect finish...just perfection. Only thing I'd change would be the grip screws but that's a personal thing. I think I need one of those!

Yes, nice touch with the photography Chuck. Thumbs up!
This one ranks up there as number one on "black" 1911s that I've ever seen. Just fantastic. I absolutely love the way you smooth edges (carry bevel?). Not a sharp edge anywhere, but it doesn't come out looking like a Clark extreme "melt" or whatever they call that pkg.

Fellas, FedEx dropped the black one off at my house yesterday. Words can not describe how nice the gun is. Chuck is an artist. He put a lot of time and care into making the gun perfect and I can't thank him enough . And for the poster that asked if it was a switch caliber gun, no, there are two different guns in the above pics. A sniper grey 45 and my black 9mm.

Pinch me, I'm DREAMING
You have mastered the art of making something so complicated look so simply beautiful.
To see that you wrote: "More to Come", makes me come back day after day after day, just waiting to see what lies in your future achievements of artistic prowess. I don't know if my comments make sense, but can you blame me. I feel because of the small handful of people like yourself we are in the golden age of custom 1911's. I feel like I can't even dream up guns that you create. Your talent is truly remarkable. I would love to see the process that you must go through to bring these guns to "Life". Thank you Chuck!

Thanks for the kind words!

"I would love to see the process that you must go through to bring these guns to "Life". ."

Upon request of the customer I am doing a photo essay of a pretty involved build:
