While the name "Basic" doesn't have a cool tactical ninja sound, there is nothing basic about this gun. I have two guns that John built for me in this configuration, one a lightweight commander and the other a full size Colt GM. This conversion ensured reliability, maintain the accuracy and make the gun comfortable to carry as well as shoot in long training session. I am sure the owner is quite pleased with this very serious weapon.
