No Patrick that is actually the factory safety Don rework for me. Of the half dozen or so Alloy HP's I ordered when AIM had them, only a couple had that style safety. I liked the old school hand fabricated look and Don obliged. Al I cheated a little and photoed it before hard chrome. Don blasted the painted finish off the anodized frame. Should look about the same when I get it back from Mahovsky.

I keep singing the same song. BHPs have an innate pull to them which, I suppose, must someday be acknowledged by more than a simple expression of desire. Of course, I've yet to really jump onto the 9mm 1911 bandwagon, and I suppose that remains yet another potential rabbit hole to dive into, if we're seriously considering a sub-caliber sidearm. ;)
