All,

Many many moons ago I had Ted build me a 1911 on a Springfield. It turned out pretty damn nice. Shot well too. Since then I have carried it concealed, on duty (my current primary duty gun!), in fact I carry it daily come rain, snow, sun etc. It never leaves my side. It has come to be the tool of my trade and has saved my ass countless times as I KNOW it will work. Confidence in ones tools is priceless.

Ted, Thanks for doing a superb job by keeping me alive with a proper tool for the job.

Andy

We have all seen Steves great pics of Teds work fresh from the shop. How about some pics of one that has seen duty on the front line.

Let me effect that ASAP, be warned, this is a duty/daily carry gun that has had a VERY hard life. It ain't pretty (like it once was).

As an aside, I know that this gun works at -25F, and can be submerged for long periods with no ill effects. (photos of me waterborne at my web site).

Incoming photos in the AM!

I understand about pretty. My son is carrying my old P220 that I carried for several years before I retired (started Oklahoma City PD 26 years ago today). It has a nice "patina" as the collectors say. Look forward to seeing the warhorse. Share the website also.
