Big thanks to Pete Single for checkering the front strap, mainspring housing, grip safety pad and recoil spring plug. His work is impeccable!!
I hand checkered the slide stop, thumb safety, mag catch and front of the triggerguard.

This is quite a departure from your recent work, and I'll bet it felt great stepping out a bit....? Or am I just reading too much into the fan-friggin'-tastic result?

I'd like a few details if you would-- how are the KKM barrels? This one shipping with two sets of grips, and what's the wood set, looks like the work of la hermosa Peruana, izzat right?
