I know there are some old treasures out there waiting to be collected and lovingly shot; several years ago I ended up with a .45 cap Colt 1911 that was customized by Jesse Harpe one of the pioneers of bullseye gun making. I may have gotten lucky once again; when I opened the box at my local gun shop the barrel bushing is marked "DINAN". At home I removed the Pachmayr wraparound stocks to find stippling on the back strap as well as it was on the front strap. There is a 3 screw full length Bomar rib with Bomar rear sight and a trigger shoe that is marked "R2Q P". The trigger pull is very smooth; but there is not a half cock notch (or it doesn't work) its either cocked or hammer down. The serial number dates the frame to 1962/.38 Super frame. If anyone has a DINAN customized pistol please take a look at mine and tell me what you think. Thanks.

Those are classic. Just did the Tulsa Arms show and that is the only place left where one can find treasures such as those.
