Kevin: The grips were hand crafted of G10, by a gentleman who unfortunatley is no longer in the business. SRT

Nice piece! I've got one similar by Jim Garthwaite. How does the Heinie rear sight fit??? Some....slight...differences in tolerances between the slide from Colt and the sight from Heinie on mine! I think out of 8(?) points of contact on the slide/sight only 2 or 3 were touching! You could see daylight through the others! Not Colt's best time, I'd say! Neat gun gun, though! Sweet carry rig with an Alessi holster.

Ted was concerned about the rear sight, but worked his magic and made it look very nice. There's a little light that can be seen towards the front of the sight cut by Colt, but no where else. He told me what he did to correct Colt's mess, but I can't reveal his trade secret, for fear that he might move my next BHP to the rear of his work bench. You are right, it is a great carry gun. Best regards, SRT
