For my money that's a fair price but I'm not buying it.
Gold Cup Commanders are not common, putting Bomars on a Gold Cup has its issues - depending on the vintage of the work and what Bomar was available to fit at the time; Gold Cup Commanders did ship with some custom work from Colt - Clark Custom is a fine name.
If you don't see Gold Cup Commander start with any Commander and see what you think it's worth.
Look at the various internet sites for instance Guns America has a Gold Cup Commander Blue N.I.B. listed, the listing is left as an exercise for the reader. I have no idea whether that gun is worth that price either but for my money the price quoted in this thread
