Hi, all !
Thought I'd share a new holster design I've been wearing in prototype form this past week. I have a few others for various pistols in the field now for T&E awaiting feedback. Basically a variation of my In-Cognito with kydex clips, but the holster can be worn in any of three carry modes depending upon how the clips are mounted.
As shown in the first photo, it is a conventional IWB:

Reverse the clips in the "pockets" so they are on the rear of the holster, lace your belt through them and wear it as an OWB:

Or mount the clips directly to the outside front of the holster without using the pockets and it becomes a "tuckable" IWB:

No master in working with kydex, I fashioned the clips shown myself; but spoke with the nice folks at Comp-Tac and will be using their standard belt clip for production. This also means the holster will work with any variation of Comp-Tac clip if someone wants more discreet IWB/tuckable carry; but will only work as an OWB with the standard clip.

The prototype shown is smooth leather front and rear, but I will be offering it with all options available on my In-Cognito IWB including molded kydex reinforced mouthband and suede backing. I'm naming it the Triskel, an ancient Celtic symbol representing the three-part unity of earth, air, and water shown on the front lower left of the holster.

Questions? Comments? Opinions?

Mark, That holster is extremely well thought out..
What I like about it is that it also has great esthetic qualities. Lots of people design holsters that are entirely functional, but they turn out looking like crap. This one looks as good as it works.
And,,, It's not easy to design all the features you did while keeping the lines clean, and uncluttered.

Jeez,,, Don't you ever sleep?
Lou

Great Concept. My holster box has overflown (?) too many times. I like the idea of you have to be somewhere that requires a change of garment and you don't have to hunt up that IWB or Tuckable or Belt Slide all three of them are right there.

In a month I will order one for a Colt CCO. Left hand any color but black.

Thanks for the comments and compliments, guys - both here and thru numerous e-mails I've received.
Two changes so far; one definate based on a tester's comments: the pistol needs to ride a little higher by lowering the clips slightly. Instead of the downward sweep at the triggerguard the leather will run straight back. On the one pictured it looks like the mag-realease is lower than the belt in OWB carry. Deceiving photo angle, it is actually just slightly above it but could still be a little higher for better grip clearence in all carry modes. The second change may be based on Bronco45's comment of being able to change the rig around when need. I'm using allen screws now, but maybe slotted head standard Chicago screw-posts would be better for expediant field conversions with a dime or penny without the need for an allen key on-hand. I'm pondering this one. Thoughts???

Lou, thanks for your gracious compliments and to answer your question - anyone who knows me will tell you that I get by on very little sleep.
