This Colt was a wreck... it had been damaged by water due to a fire at the home of it's owner. My close friend had wanted a nice custom pistol for a long time, so I took the opportunity to send it to YoBo and asked them to see if it was salvageable.

The results are amazing.... Thanks to Colton!!!!

I'm proud to give this gun back to it's owner. He's been a great friend, and deserves this!

I wish I had the foresight to take some BEFORE photos, but that's ok. The results speak for themselves. The YoBo pro grade sights are fantastic... and notice the stippling on the top of the slide. 8)

That looks great. It's amazing how much better the Enchanced Colts look when you dress up that flat top. It's so sad and boring as it leaves the factory just begging for attention.

If I can find a frame for sale here in the PRK, I want to get a .38Super built.

One day.

I really like that gun. You know... every time I see a really well-detailed 1911, I get all worked up. But, it's the simple LOOKING ones that really make me smile. That gun has everything it needs and nothing it doesn't. Very well done, and a fine gun for any custom, be it the first or fiftieth in a collection.

I think it's about as good as any gun should ever wish to be. Great job, Colton! You have an amazing career ahead.

Damn, another beauty from Yost-Bonitz!! No wonder my wife won't let me move to Arizona! I keep telling her to think how much we would save on Fedex shipping, but of course that doesn't sway her in the least.

Beautiful pistol. It's about time someone did justice to a 38 Super. A very good and underated cartridge IMHO. :D

My sentiments exactly. Great work Colton, and congrats to the owner.

I have been wanting a custom built .38 Super. This one may have pushed me over the edge :D
