First, no pictures available, sorry.
I got a digital camera for Father's Day, but still learning. Well, I'm still learning to use e-mail, so no surprise about the camera.

I got this Alessi holster a few years ago. It was in the "junk bin" at a gunshop. BTW-Is there anything more out of place than an Alessi holster in a "junk box"?
It's for a 1911, and appears as meant to be worn outside the pants, but under the belt, and has a one-way snap loop.
Typical of Mr. Alessi's work, it's all business, just enough leather to do the job with no fat, but plenty of excellent workmanship.
Just wondering what model it was. No reason, other than I don't know.

For that matter, I keep "discovering" more Alessi models.
I know the "standards"- DOJ, CQC, CQC/S (my favorite), etc, but now and then, see another I didn't know about.

Does anyone have pics of various models they can post?

I'm avoiding the usual "When's the website gonna be ready?"- because I'd rather have him building holsters than websites!

I share your curiosity, I look at the bag my GWH came in and wonder what all those other listings are.

Well, I have a small collection of Alessi leather. I don't own every model but I am working on it. 8) Here are a few snaps of a couple I just received and some that currently get used. I have to say, Lou's ACP-S which I have been wearing for a couple of weeks straight, almost 24 hours a day lately, is the best OWB holster I own.

Alessi ACP-S for Commander or Kimber Compact.

Alessi CQC-S for full sized 1911.

A version of Alessi ACP with shark trim.

Alessi ACP-S for 5" 1911.

And my favorite Alessi belt which has been worn daily for over two years and is absolutely the best in the business. Image

Don't know if your holster is pictured here, but you are welcome to send it to me and I will identify, photograph, and use it thouroughly............and conveniently forget to send it back. :P

RF Holsters (see their own website) has an unusual number and variety by Alessi on Gunbroker.com right now. I am seriously tempted to go ahead and buy a stock pistol I've found tempting since the holster(s) would be instant gratification.

Of course after I got it smithed to match some pictures elsewhere I'd have to Dremel my own form and get a custom holster.

Thanks everyone, for the replys and pictures.

So, Mr. Bailey, you like the ACP/S best. Glad to hear that, because I need another Alessi OWB holster, and can't choose. Since you also have a CQC/S (my favorite), the fact you like the ACP/S better means a lot.
I don't have an ACP or ACP/S for any gun, but that may be a good reason to get one.

Two of my three favorite handguns are the 1911 and BHP. Somehow, I've managed to NOT have Alessi OWB holsters for those two guns. I need to fix that. Maybe I can trade somebody an unused Sig P220/226 CQC/S I have for a 1911 or BHP Alessi.

Mr. Myers-
Thanks for the tip. I'll have a look.

Goodness gracious, gentlemen. I just get back, nice and refreshed from a great vacation, turn on the computer, and the first thing I see is this?

Hmmm, must be time for another vacation..........

Tim,, You were on vacation? AGAIN? Damn.. I want a job like you got! We gotta talk at the SHOT SHOW so you can let me in on some of your secrets

Barry, That holster you picked up sounds like our BPB Holster, which stands for Between the pants, and belt.
I designed that in the early 70's, and we sold a ton of them to the CIA for Browning HP's for many years. It was discontinued around 1980, but I have been thinking about reviving that design. I've had quite a few people ask about it lately.
The original selling price of that holster in the 70's was $12.00, and I think it topped out at 25.00 by the time we discontinued it..
Hope this helps.
Lou

Hey Lou:
Well that's weird! I build a "between the pants and belt holster" that I call a BPB. I didn't realize you had offered that type of holster much less called it the same thing. Please let me know if you're going to 're-introduce" yours and I'll change the name on mine.
