I am posting these pictures and questions for a member named ap38945, responses and questions should be directed towards him. Hope this helps ap38945:

This is a Pachmayr Comabat Special that I have. It's
number is 197. I am talking to Paul from Pistol
Dynamics. He worked for Pachmayr. He said that the
trigger guard does not look like the work that
Pachmayr shop did. That it looks more like Jim
Boland's work. This gun seems unfired. I bought it
from a collector who bought it from an estate. There
were 3 guns :This one, A.D. Swenson , Novaks
Commander. Here is whats funny. All three guns are biuld
on Colts from 1977-78 era. All three guns look unfired
without any show of use or wear. All three gun are
"Full house" guns. (have alot done to them). From
talking to Novak and Sensons nephew J.Jardine the two
guns (and posibly the Pachmayr) were customized at
about the same period. Interesting. See if You can get
some opinions on this one. I have a very hard tim
getting any info. on it. Even Wayne Novak said that he
never seen a Pachmayr with a trigger guard like that.
I also have very little clue of the guns value. Thank
You for You help .

Those squared trigger guards may have been done by John Spilboroughs. He was more a weld up and reshape guy, where the others did more heat and shape in squaring their trigger guards. This is, of course, just a guess.
