Thanks!! The back is doing well. I should be getting back to work on May 2. It is nice to be alive for another year; now all I have to do make sure everything keeps on working like it's supposed to.

Will work for gunsmithing.

Urologists can cause more pain than a dentist.

Happy Birthday John.

Remember that it's always a good day if you are on this side of the ground and you're paying taxes. IT doesn't matter if all the equipment doesn't work like it use to. Technology has improved this days.

Now that's funny, Dr. Wang and a Urologist at that. Sorry, I couldn't resist Doc. I was actually referring to my spine and keeping it operational without resorting to more surgical intervention. I guess of course that is the next logical thing to have problems with though. I just had my 40 yr old physical and I certainly don't want to have to go through that again; my Doc looks like Ray Romano's older brother on "Everybody Loves Raymond" with fingers the size of bananas. I am still traumatized.

Happy Bithday John. Now that you are use to back surgeries may I suggest you moving on to kidney stones. I was lucky enough to experience that wonderful situation last week, getting older is so much f****** fun. Anyway, have a beer, smoke a joint, oh wait you're a cop, :D , well go get some love at a stip joint then.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, and yes, it does get worse.

Happy b'day John. :D :D Ah hell guys - it doesn't have to be that bad. My dad will be 80 in July, and except for having his knees replaced 5 years ago, is in great shape. In fact, a couple of years after my Mom passed away, he married a gal about 3 years older than I am.

I switched to my wife's doctor. Being a small woman, she has relatively small fingers.
"Done already?"

Happy birthday John! Just think, you're one year closer to your first colonoscopy. Trust me, that will make your physical seem like a fond memory!

Well, it is like I have these dark rain clouds following me (I would think YO-BO wouldn't want me in the shop for fear of bad luck). My partner at work, who was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome about 6 months ago now has a very ill mother and brother. He wanted to come out to AZ with me and look for a retirement property. His brother, who is self-employed as a plumber, was fortunate enough to have gotten health insurance the week before (thank God) he was hospitalized. Well, he is in need of a heart transplant and has an assortment of other failing organs, including the kidneys and liver. They say he is making significant progress now that they have him on the proper medication, but we can't come out until his brother's condition is more stable.

Then on Tuesday of this week, I had an off-duty Sheriff's Deputy get murdered a block south of my house. Two guys riding on bicycles shot her once in the back as she was loading her vehicle in preparation for work. The actual owner of the house is an Gang Detail Investigator for the Sheriff's Department and was probably the likely target. The Deputy that was murdered was her friend that worked custody. I have a wife that is in up in arms of the crime in my community (It has gone down 70%). If she had allowed me the opportunity to move to AZ when I was retired, she wouldn't have to worry so much about crime rates, pollution, education, and congestion.

John, I'd suggest you had best get out while the property values are still sky-high.
