She started life as a S&W 66-2 that looked like this:

After Marc Morganti (Gemini Customs) got his hands on it, I ended up with this:

Specs:

Roundbutted
Moonclipped
Barrel shortened to 3", crowned and reprofiled
Ball detent lock up
New front sight
Action Job
Narrowed and rounded trigger
Polished screws
Hard chromed
Grips fitted

I'll try to get some better pics soon when it isn't so bright and hot outside.

Marc is a great gunsmith that gets no press for some reason. He took the time to keep me up to date on what was going on and never seemed bothered by my curiosity.

I frequently work long hours away from home for weeks or months at a time and I'm sure I bugged him more than should have but I was afraid he would ship my gun home while I was out.
