Corny old saying, when you get a lemon make lemonade. The frame came out of an estate purchase last year. Sold it at an OKC gunshow and about a week later the customer called and said the frame broke. Broke at the corner of the MSH pin hole. Refunded his money and contemplated throwing it away. Got industrious one day and ordered an EB bobtail jig. With a few parts from the parts bin its back in operation.

A.R. sales LW frame. Colt 22 conversion unit from CMP. EB safeties and smooth bobtail MSH. CMC hammer. Black graphite cerracote.

PS- Obviously I am not a gunsmith. After playing around I realize why we pay the good ones. You get what you pay for.

Looks great, Gary. A real nice job.

Nice to see that you found something to do with that top end! < jealous>

The bobtail conversion is really intriguing to me. Although, I would like to handle/shoot one before having the conversion done. Anyway, it looks like the 'lemonade' turned out great.

Thanks guys. I enjoyed salvaging a frame that wasnt worth sending in to have a professional work on it.

The Bobtail is nice. Takes some getting used to. I have a Gemini customs LW Commander in 45 with the bobtail and like it alot. But I like a conventional frame also.
