Nice site gents. My first post here so I thought I start off with a favorite of mine. A 44 Special conversion on an Old Model Ruger 357 done in the Old Model Single Six style with much welding and machining to the top strap.

Fantastic gun. Boxhead has others guys. Get him to show you. He & CraigC are my hero's and I am trying my best to emulate them and their collection of custom Rugers. :)

Oh come on Marsh, hero? Your stuff is as nice as any. Here's my latest, a 5 shot 41 Special on a Ruger Old Model Single Six 22 RF.

Before,

About ready to regulate,

And finished,

Fitted tight, line bored and superbly accurate with the 215 gr SWC at 850 fps. Might just be my new favorite.

Nice Pistolas, Boxhead!
On the first one, I really like the case hardened look and are those desert ironwood grips?

Thanks for sharing & welcome to LTW!

Sorry gents, been away a bit. Alan Harton of Houston did all the work. Here's another, a somewhat basic 45 Colt on the Ruger Old Model 357,
