What kind of finish is that? Some of the pictures make it look kind of shiney while others make it look a little duller. Can't tell if it's a painted finish or just a deep black blue job.

Hi Greg, it's a blue.

Polished flats and matte on the balance. The reality is I couldn't make up my mind when the gun shipped and we kept the finish open. Then I was too excited to consider options when Don announced that the gun is ready for finishing so I just picked blue. :D
