It is difficult to describe the pleasure of recieving "The Call" from Jason at Yost-Bonitz.
The helpful suggestions and practical knowledge displayed by Jason was just what I needed to get my thoughts together and by extension, just what my BHP Mark 1 needs.

I am taken by the general decency and gentlemanliness exuded by all those folks I have chatted with at the YoBo HQ, and look foward to the next call notifying me that the iron is headed back home.
It makes the wait well worth it.

Hopefully Steve Bailey can take and display a picture of the BHP before it gets back to me. I would hate to publically embarrass myself with the shockingly low quality of my photographic travesties.

My thanks to Steve Bailey for the gracious offer to photograph my BHP, at the time of it's debut.

Everything I take a pic of looks like it should be used as evidence in a criminal prosecution.
I readily admit that I have no art in my soul for cameras.

I have a close friend who at present is doing active service, (make that very, VERY ACTIVE service) in Lebanon; having recently finished his third assignment in Gaza in two years; who listens to all of my tales and fables of what is on the menu for my old workhorse BHP.

I can see his green tinged complexion now. Maybe it is just cammo cream
or maybe it is plain old jelousy.
Either way I am a smiling old guy.

That could be my face also, as I look on with envy too.
I'm waiting on The Call also, that's why I check here 8 or 10 times a day, looking to see a new posting by Steve Bailey of some BHPs leaving the shop...showing a serial number I've seen before.

Can't hurt to look.

I'm just tickled to see that some BHPs are coming out of the shop now. BHPs in the pipeline are a light at the end of the tunnel.

Mr Ariel- Shoot it, post a range report, and take some pictures anyway. No matter how bad you think the pics are, they will be awful pretty to most of us I'm sure.

I spent my morning cleaning up a disastrous mess of paper, relics of two predecessors (one who was fired for incompetence). As the hours marched, I found myself increasingly frustrated and belligerent toward inanimate objects. I had to take a break.

Returning to my office, there was a FEDEX medium box sitting on my chair. I knew who sent it. I knew what was within. Still agitated I slit open the box welcoming a waterfall of foam peanuts. A fat green soft-case nestled inside.

I unzipped the case and the bouquet of gun oil tickled my nose. I reached in, grasped the stippled grip, marvelled at the beauty and symmetry of the metalwork, the figure of the stocks, the balance of the pistol. A peace flowed through me.

SRT.....Zen therapy........the gents at YoBo should get a patent.
