I mentioned in a thread started back in June that my son was deploying to Iraq towards the end of the year. Well he departed yesterday @ 1630hrs. He called last night from Bangor Maine prior to leaving for Frankfurt. He said that he would call once he arrived in Kuwait and had the time. Once again I will reemphasize my thoughts that the USA has the finest soldiers in the world. Just thought I would update a little.

Thanks for the update and thanks to your son for his service. I hope the good lord looks over him and that he returns home soon. I agree our military is the best! Take care.
