Well it is the season and the new owner of this one is going to own one of the finest "dress Colt's" I have seen Ted do. All of the things that make a gun "full house" are present. Superb machining, fit, finish, the best in parts and intallation, absolute accuracy and function...not to mention elephant ivory with nitre blue pins and screws.

Yeah, I always like mine to say Colt and they can take a bit more work to turn them into something you see here, but, when they are done the finished product is really something to look at. Like I said in one of the other posts, Ted is at the top of his game right now, and JB and I feel fortunate to learn from and be able to work in an enviroment that really sets the bar for us.

This gun reminds me of sort of a modern day BBQ gun if you will. Polish, nitre blue, and ivory creates a pistol that is classy and timeless. While Ted's signature is the classic blued Colt there are some guns that just bleed that fine Colt pistol appeal.

Merry Christmas Boys! Enjoy the pictures.

How many LPI is that on the front strap? It looks like more than 40. That's a beautiful gun. Thanks, as always, for showing it. I'll be sure to include you in my poverty lawsuit.

Colts and fine bluing
Solid triggers and Heinies
Subtle dehorning and checkering tiny
Racking the action and hearing it ring...

These are a few of my favorite things!

Someone is going to get a nice present to themselves. I like it. That one's done just right, with all my favored goodies.

Boy, that's gonna be some BBQ whenever it happens.
I need to get something to wear.

Whew. Glad I was nice and not naughty this year.

Off to hang my stocking with care and a couple extra nails to handle the weight.

You mean you don't have a leather IWB Christmas stocking? I'd be more concerned with having a good gun belt than nailing the gun into my waist. YMMV. :P

Ted,

That is an absolutely fantabulous piece. Every touch is sweet. I hate the fact that I run out of good adjectives to describe what I'm thinking about the guns you post. I'll just resort to a time tested one... DAMN!

Steve,

As usual, your photos are great. You can come take pictures of my guns anytime.

GOD Bless you all this Christmas season.

Fine prose Barry! Had to think about the song for a minute, but it fits nicely.

Beautiful pistol. by the way. How many LPI?

Actually that just popped into my head.
But I do indeed have way too much time on my hands.

Good hearing from you Capt (Or is it still Captain?).
