Just picked up a new Springfield EMP and am curious about holsters for this gun. Im pretty sure it is very close in size to a Cold Defender etc.. but am wondering if anyone has purchased a holster for one yet?

Actually a std 3" 1911 holster works great for them. The dimensions havent been reduced where holster fit counts....at least thats what guys who have them say. Ive made a 6 holsters or so for them so far and have had no problems.....
Shoot well and god bless

Here is my EMP in one of Eric's holsters. This is a Com3 in black cowhide trimmed with sharkskin, customized as per my instructions, and Eric did a fantastic job. This thing hids my EMP very nicely under even white tees, and I can wear it for 14 hours straight and never feel it. I've slept hours on the couch wearing this thing, woken up to remove my wallet from my pocket, and gone back to sleep with the holster still on. The extended grip shield keeps me from sweating all over the EMP's beautiful cocobolo, and the exaggerated sweat-shield at the bottom help to distribue the mass of the holster over a wider area so that the thing is supremely comfortable. Enjoy the pics, and Eric, I apologize for not getting these pics to you sooner...life has been knuckleballing me.

Eric-- I think we need to know more about you and your work. That holster rocks!
