One of the event Organizers for the SW Washington Friends of the NRA Banquet asked me if I would like to donate a rig for the upcoming event in March.

I agreed, and I figured it should be a nice one, so I did this one in Full Coverage Elephant for a Government Model 1911.

Not sure if they are going to auction it off or raffle it, but here it is:

My advice would be to order from John now, guys!
I predict it won't be long before he has a several month waiting list like the rest of us.

I've got 1 or 2 in the waiting list and guess I'd better "get my act together" for the rest right quick.
Super looking rig John.

Very nice looking rig John. I actually looked at the pics before reading the text and tried to figure out who made it. My final guess was Lou, although I've never seen any of his stuff in elephant. Second guess was Garrity. What's that quote in the old cigarette ads?...."you've come a long way baby".

I am going to take some better pics this weekend with natural lighting, and they should be much better.

Thanks Matt.

It is hard to find a day where the Sun actually shines here on the Western Side of Washington in the Winter. The first year we lived here there was 149 consecutive days of rain, starting in Mid-November (96 inches for the year)!!

Ah, so you get all our rain.
Here in Phoenix we went over 100 days straight this past summer without a drop! I enjoy not knowing whether or not my car's windshield wipers work.

Those new pics are sweet. I have a question, hope it doesn't make me look stupid. :? It doesn't look like there's a rear belt slot cut, do you wait until the holster is totally done to cut it? Or do you wait until you decide on the cant? Hope this isn't a dumb question, I just noticed that about the slot and thought I'd ask.

Good catch - I usually would have it done before it is molded, but ...

Since this one was so nice and my bag punch so crappy, I ordered a custom punch and it hasn't arrived yet. When it does I will punch out the slot and remold that portion.

John
