Is Lou Alessi still in the custom holster business? I tried to email him but I get no reply. His website appears to be gone as well.

Thanks

"Uncle Lou" is alive and well and building holsters. He's been buried here lately, building stuff for the government. I talked to him 2 or 3 weeks ago, and he thought he was beginning to see the "light at the end of the tunnel."

Lou is fanatical about answering all of his email. I'm sure he get back with you, it just may take longer than it normally would.

To my knowledge, he's still taking orders, but his wait has been running longer than usual. Hopefully, the wait will start to get better!

Richard, I usually answer all E-mail within 24 hours. I don't recall ever receiving an E-mail from you.
Try resending it.

Thanks,
Lou

Richard, I just realized who you were. The first E-mail I received from you was this AM, which I answered, and we corresponded back and forth.

If you had sent an earlier one, I don't think I ever received it.
Lou

Do they have a print catalog? I know the website is down, but how can I see the models offered?

I don't think there is a print catalog, but you can check out Lightening Arms Sports, as they are a stocking dealer for Lou. They have many of his models pictured on their website. Best wishes, John

Lou will be happy to send you some pictures, if necessary. He's a great gentleman and an artisan, although he'd probably scoff at that term.

Besides, he's an ex-Army guy, too! :D
