Well, I finally got registered here, thanks to Ted, and Steve for the invitation, and Mark for reminding me to get over here.
It looks like a nice place to be a part of, and thanks again for the invite gentlemen..
Lou

Welcome Lou!
Hey, I grew up in Rochester, NY.
My family and I vacationed there last summer.
Daughter and me flew into Buffalo and did the Niagara Falls thing.
Great to have you aboard! :D

Thanks again guys,,

Chuck, damn,, I wish I would have known you were going to visit the 'Falls'.
You probably drove right by the shop. We could have had dinner. Let me know if you ever plan on coming back to the area.
Lou

Thanks a bunch guys.
Stevie, you mean Pauly? He crackes me up! Kinda reminds me of some of the goofballs I grew up with. They either became cops, or wannabe mafioso!
Me?,, I became a glorified shoemaker :?
Thanks again,
Lou

Hey, anybody invite a liquor store owner to join yet? This place would be about perfect!

Welcome aboard, Lou! It's about time some adult supervision showed up. Somebody's got to rein in that exhuberant Bailey fellow!

Adult supervision would certainly be nice! Especially around the Yost-Bonitz shop.....Home of the wise crackin' pistolsmith. For those who don't know Ted looks a little like Steve Buscemi's character on the Sopranos....and Lew Bonitz has been called Fred Flinstone...We definitely have too much fun around that place. :D :D :D

BTW I don't call Lew Fred Flintstone to his face.

Steve,

I happened to speak to Lew just the other day and a nicer guy I have never spoken to. Ted was out wasting the day away and Lew was left holding down the fort. I'm glad cause it finally gave me a chance to chat with Lew.

(how was that Lew? should be good for one of your complimentary rifles!!!!)   :D 8) 8)

Is that why the last time I talked to Lew he ended the conversation with “yabba-dabba-do”? :?

Kinda sounds like our shop. My Father-in Law constantly shakes his head wondering out loud as to why he ever allowed me to marry his daughter!
I keep telling him that it's his job security
Lou

Steve,

You have to be careful with what you talk about. As I remember things, both Ted & Lew were always commenting about that damned Bailey when things were not in their proper place or where was that damned Bailey.
P.S.: Congrats on the promotion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lou,

So when are you going to accept the invitation and move to Arizona.

Ray

Ray, Moving to Arizona sure would be nice. The trade off is no mosquitos, but dealing with those damn scorpions I don't know which is worse!

Sounds like you guys are going to have a lot of fun working together, but at whose expense I'm not sure..

Better start calling Stevie Sarge, or Mr. Bailey from now on..

Stevie.. CONGRATULATIONS my friend, and well deserved.. Those stripes are gonna look cool on your polo shirts..
Lou

Steve,
I did not know about your promotion. That is great!!! It is nice to see competent people get rewarded.

As an Army major with 13 years, I've seen many officers and NCOs get promotions they did not deserve and wondered how we win wars.... In your case, I can see your bosses know what they are doing.

Congratulations again and stay safe out there....

Lenny

Thanks for the kind words Lenny. Time will tell I guess after I get used to teaching the younger guys instead of doing it all the time. I won't stop chasing bad guys but need to move over a little at some point. 8)
