I got around to getting a few Hi-Powers finished, and wound up with these samples which are all a bit different ready to go at the same time.

Top left is a 9mm in Black-T, top right is another 9 with a Bar-Sto barrel in polished blue slide flats, and the bottom is a 40 in hardchrome and blue with flattened and serrated slide.

Wonderful work Don. It always amazes me that each of the great smiths and even the same smith get to nearly the same place in slightly different ways with the same gun.

Now if I could get the wife to understand why more custom hi powers and 45s are an absolutle necessity. :roll:

this isa nice pair of guns, but get rid of those brown grips, ALUMIGRIPS
make some nice ones for the h/p , i have a 9mm in dull chrome / the gold trigger, a 1991 model. love those HIPOWERS/COLTS.. enjoy... :roll:
