After a long wait my Gemini Custom 1911 is finally done and in my possesion.

I would like to start off by saying that Marc is a great person. It was a true pleasure working with him to build this gun. It is the first true "custom" that I have built and I had a lot of questions along the way. He was very patient with me and did an great job of building what I wanted.

The gun is incredible!!

I am going to try to go to the range today and shoot it. This gun will not be left in the safe to collect dust, it will be used.

Hopefully I do not have to wait much longer for my turn to come up at Heirloom Precision...

That is some amazing work! The damascus is beautiful and I love the flutes on the barrel and guide rod!

What a stunning piece of gun art, you absolutely have to post more pictures when you get the chance. Unbelieveable, what a Xmas gift.

Nice!
Marc did a custom Dragon Skin TI Commander for me.
I love his work and he is a great guy to deal with!

Holy cow, where in the world did you come up with the idea of building a gun like that?

What's going on with the cuts on the plunger tube?

Ken, I believe that that's a shadow from ovehead lighting shining across the cocking serrations.

There are no cuts on the plunger tube, just shadows/lighting.

I will post the specs as soon as I get up enough "courage" to open the envelope. It also has the total amount paid. I was waiting until after the holidays to look at it.

I was able to take it to the range Christmas Eve. The trigger was incredible and I love the gold bead front sight. It is my new favorite 1911 and will be going to the range a lot! One of my criteria was that it be built to be used, and it will be!

Just wow.
Truly a work of art, I'd almost be afraid to shoot it.

that belongs in a museum. If you ever get some trigger time behind it, I'd love a range report...

off topic: what type of grips are on that revolver?

In the words of Xzibit "Congratulations playa...you've officially been pimped"! That gun is pretty awesome. I love the grips as well. Definitely not your "run of the mill" custom.
