IMHO A few changes for the better

checked front strap
serrated back of slide
Matte finished upper
DD slim grips
single thumb safety
flush magazine
reliability and trigger package

Very nice !
Who did the work ?

As more of these get out in the market, I suspect we will see more customized.

Springfield Custom Shop did the tool work, but the mag was chopped by a guy named Dan. He has stopped making them now.

It looks good. The single best mod was the flush fit mag. I don't understand why Springfield made this great little pistol with a mag that has such a large base pad. I hope somebody comes out with a new flush fit mag for this pistol in the near future.

I agree regarding the mag issue. Similar to the Glock 36 - why make a short butt gun, if you are going to turn around and increase the length by a huge mag pad/floorplate ?

Maybe Walther had it right with the PP/PPK series guns - sell the gun with one flush magazine, and one extended floorplate mag.

It's been brought up at Springfield I'm pretty sure.... they are good listeners so I'll bet they'll be available soon. Makes too much sense not to be.

In my opinion, the EMP that John Harrison built for his daughter is the best I've ever seen.

Cannon Creek Armory has been doing nice looking work on them as well. It might not be appropriate for me to say here but they have one for sale on Gun Broker.
Harrison's EMP is awsome, defenitly the nicest looking EMP I have seen.
