Now THAT is a nice looking holster. When you said "what color?" I should have said "russet brown with a bit of shark trim" Seriously, very nice work John, that is a really handsome and functional holster.

I will be the new owner of the above Holster/Mag Pouch and can't wait to get them.

Mr. Ralston has been great to work with.

When I ordered the Holster, my job involved concearling my fullsize Dawson Railed 1911 during special "street crimes" details. Most of the times, it road in a Safariland Duty Holster. I usually carry a 340 PD J Frame Revolver off duty with the family.

Well an extracurricular injury has seen me changing jobs to pure investigations where I will be concealing the 1911 during my entire shift.

I had placed the order from my work email, and after the injury, missed a couple of months of work and no access to the work computer. Well, when my order came up, Mr. Ralston made numerous attempts to contact me by email, with no replies.

So when I finally found out that my order was up, I made contact. Mr. Ralston was very kind when he had every right to put me in the back of the line.

He was generous with his time and helped steer me to the model of holster that would better serve my needs (switching from occasional concealment to concealing the 1911 every day for an 8 hours shift).

He even went out of his way to ship the Holster so I will (hopefully) get it before new years.

I've been so impressed (and haven't even touched the holster/pouches yet), that I've already gotten back in line for a future order.

I will post impressions on the holster when it arrives (like waiting for Christmas again).
