I am going to call this one the LFA-1. Modeled after the ACP/S as produced by Louigi.

It is a great design, and I hope to do it justice.

John,
You've hit the bullseye with that rig. A really nice tribute to Uncle Lou, he would have been very proud and honored.
RIP Lou.

John-

Lou would be proud to have such a fine piece of leather named after him. Great work as always!

BTW-I think I just added to your backlog. I'd venture to guess.... you'll see a few requests for pocket holsters & ankle rigs. My pocket rig is on "loan" I hope.

Best
Mark

Great looking holster John, I have a ACP-S for a Sig 220 that has seen a lot of belt time. It is one of my favorite holsters. Now if you could find some Ostrich, just enough for trim, I know what my next holster order would be...

John..fantastic looking rig!! I know that Lou would be proud of you and this holster. In one of my last conversations we were discussing the "new" guys to the holster business and he very proudly mentioned your progress..several times, along with Matt and Josh. He said that what impressed him about your work was how fast you seemed to have caught on..and then excelled!! I think that if you maintain your standards and carry on with Lou's philosophies..the future of holstergoods will continue to look very bright! Best regards--John

John, I would say it is a very nice holster. It is very true to the original and a wonderful to see the proper attribution and dedication. I am sure Uncle Lou is smiling down on that one.

I agree with torrejon. Anyone who makes a great version of the Heinie/Alessi DOJ (low cut, reinforced mouth, straight drop, loop and tunnel or snap) or low cuts an ACP-S like this can count on me for about 4!

Thanks for all the comments. I sure hope Lou is watching this thread and admiring the sentiment!

As it turns out, I got laid off last Wednesday, so the leather is now my only income. Time to get busy and add some models to the lineup

Sorry to hear this John. We'll all have to send some business your way. Do you have any plans on designing a mag pouch/flashlight combo?
