Dave Erickson at Condition One Pistolsmithing built this pistol for me on a Caspian slide and frame. It has a Kart barrel, 25 lpi checkering on the frontstrap and mainspring housing. I had Dave alter the Heini rear sight so it could be used to work the slide during one handed operation. The barrel has been cut flush with the bushing and counter sunk. Dave kept the original lines on the gun but there is not a sharp edge on it. I wanted to keep the pistol a bit Retro so I went with a blued finsh and skip checkered grips. Dave also altered the slide stop, opened the magwell up, and installed a custom front sight.
Dave also flattened and serrated the top of the slide, which is probably my favorite part. The pistol turned out beautiful and its a tack driver. I've only put a few rounds through it, waiting on an ammo order to come in:). Didn't measure the group but was easily one inch at 15 yrds with no support. I have no doubt it will produce the same group at 25yds or further. I couldn't be more pleased, Thanks Dave!
