You know that you’re starting a marriage off right when there’s a pistol for a wedding gift! Here’s one Ted recently finished that became a nuptial blessing all its own... and the best part is that it was for the bride!

Based on a Caspian frame and slide, the very thoughtful groom figured it would be cool to give his bride a one-off custom chambered in 9mm and complete with French-fit presentation case. The gun is a Signature Grade conversion as they’re most often done... flattened and serrated slide top, Kart barrel, Gold Line front sight, and only the best components throughout. As with all the guns that leave our shop this one was hand-checkered front and rear, this one done in 40lpi to better suit a ladies hands. The stocks are English walnut and the whole gun is polished blued and accented with nitre blued pins and screws... just as every wedding gift should be!

I hear a lot of guys refer to the missus as a "keeper". This young lady resets the meter on that old line

Guns like this are fun to do even for no special occasion or event - doubly so when a sentiment such as this attaches.

She may be the only wife that owns the nicest custom pistol out there :) Perhaps I can be next in line for adoption in the family tree

Is the bride a shooter? Or is this in the same vein as, "Look honey, I bought you a brand new bowling ball.. which conveniently fits my fingers.."

Gorgeous pistol, though. Outstanding work, as always.

Very nice. Even nicer that there's a lady out there that appreciates such things. Wonder if she has a sister and, if so, if that sister has an attraction to husky balding guys>
