A friend of mine asked for a tune up on this little Springfield. The frame was welded so I could refit the grip safety. The front strap and MSH was scalloped at this time. Thanks Bob! I made a rear sight to go along with the taller than standard front sight that I fit. A majority of the small parts were replaced with offers from Harrison and Brown. Lots of little details, some obvious, and some not so obvious. The owner changed his mind from hard chrome to IonBond and back again. I returned the pistol in the white. I think it's going to get NP3.

Any ideas on why the pics are so small?

(fixed the pics for you... md)

That's easy...cause it's a subcompact :D ....thank you I'll be here all day!

Seriously great looking EMP. I have never been really pleased with Springfields Grip safety fittment, always a large gap, excellent repair!

Nice job Drake! These are great little guns well worth the attention.

I anyone would care to read my review of the .40 EMP, you can get the electronic version or have the back issue mailed to you. It was in the July 2010 issue of SWAT Magazine:

Great looking little blaster Drake! I hadn't seen anything from you in a while and was wondering what you've been working on. I figured that you've been swamped, which is a good thing! :D
