After almost a year in my possession, and almost 7 years in the making, I finally came home again to be able to take some photos of my fraternal twins. I forgot my main camera in Afgh. but managed to get the lights to work on my little point and shoot. Since I was in a rush on my previous R&R Tim was not able to take proper photos of them prior to delivery, but I promise next year when I come home again I will take better pics. Please excuse the occasional stray lint....
On to the build. I think I gave Tim full latitude on the builds, with the exception of finish and a couple of features, but I'll let him chime in with the actual build sheet.

From memory, I was sure I wanted a Government and a Commander, ball cuts, master grade blue, serrated top, hybrid grip serrations, and his signature scalloped/flat-backed slide. Tim brought my ideal guns to light with his exceptional attention to detail.

Thanks Tim, for a beautiful set of guns that I will treasure for a long time to come. I have not shot them yet, and I'm not even sure I want to, but I know I will, eventually, and that will be on a special occasion for sure.

1. Welcome home and thank you!

2. Good job posting this on the 4th of July.

Mighty fine brace of CT Brian pistols you've got there, something 'else" nice to come home to. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Gentlemen,

Please don't thank me, as I am just one of those contractors overseas. Thank the troops and all they've risked and lost to protect our country. I was unable to join the service in 2000 due to a hernia and was DQ'd at MEPS. By the time I got everything sorted I was too old. My work here only qualifies as a support role so that the troops have everything they need to make their lives "almost bearable" here in country, but it by no means even comes close to what they sacrifice every day.

Glad you're doing well Chris! It was a pleasure building your pair. Wish I would have had the time to do a photo session of them, but as you pointed out, our schedules didn't quite mesh.

Enjoy them and thanks to everyone for the kind comments!
