After a good long while of starts and stops, LTW is pleased to again partner with Kara's Hope to raffle a custom 1911 to raise funds that go to families having a child stricken with Alobar Holoprosencephaly (HPE). They do great things to help families in need and we at LTW are pleased to contribute. We ask that you visit their web site and buy tickets for the raffle. You can find them at

This year's pistol is a bit unique because this is the first (as best I can remember) where every member of the LTW BOD participated in the build. It was quite an exercise to organize the work to flow logically through the hands of all 10 of us and it all come out as a really sweet Government Model at the end. Also for this pistol, several folks were asked to do work segments that were not the kinds of jobs that they normally volunteered for on these LTW pistols. Everyone went along without a squeak and the results are superb. I'm really proud to call these folks my friends and to share a common goal with them.
Below is a list of who did what.
